V6 Possible 'Front' Radiator Leak

Hi
I don't know if Diesels are the same but our V6 has two radiators under the bonnet. The front one is slightly smaller. We have had a small amount of coolant disappearing for a couple of weeks and I have been looking for the leak. The front radiator is a bit wet with some water underneath it and so it looks dodgy. The back radiator seems bone dry. However, I thought the front radiator was a condenser for the air con and contained only refrigerant, not coolant. Can anyone shed any light on this?

- no coolant in it, just gas and oil.
