clear glass headlights - how to adapt?

clear glass headlights - how to adapt?
I have some eurolite adapters for the headlights, but as I have clear glass headlights there are no lines to work out where to put them. The website says I should go to a MOT test centre and use a headlight alignment machine ..... but I'm going Thursday and am at work - don't know how I'll fit that in.... Any ideas / diagrams/ advice??
