Hurst View New Forest

Just to say what a great campsite the Hurst View ( New Forest ) is ! Clean showers & toilets, shop & breakfast bar, nice walks & two pubs about 10 - 15 minute walk !!
Plenty of space & camp fires are ok ( shop even sells logs ). Very relaxed place but they will not tolerate noise after 11pm, which is great when you have kids trying to sleep ( we saw two groups being asked to leave after a noisy Saturday night ).
Plus 3 Bongo's on-site !!!!!!!

Believe it or not HB, we have held a meeting their back in 2007,
it is a lovely little spot as you say

Wow excellent and timely report - I enquired about this site only this morning. They also allow 1 night bookigns in summer holidays and have a special event for star gazing on 13th August (when I am there) as I have a dog show in Brockenhurst the following day.
Really looking forward to it now - so please send nice weather whoever arranges it ... ( a soggy Newfy show dog is not so much fun!!)

The stars were fantasic when we were there just hope for a clear night !
