HAMPSHIRE 2012 CAMPFEST ( A festival of campers from the UK )
1 week at Strawberry Fields on the south side of The New Forest, Monday August 6th to Monday August 13th 2012.
Self sufficient...Loos and water, but no showers or power.
Central to many locations and great places to visit.
Secure, gated site. Party on Saturday evening and boot sale on Sunday.

I (Paol) am beginning to plan the next gathering in Hampshire for the week of August 6th [beginning Monday] and [ending Monday 13th]. I am unable to offer the same 50 pound per pitch, per week price as in this years gathering, but I can offer this one at 55 pounds for the whole week. We can also offer single nights at 10 pounds per night or a 3 night weekend special [Friday to Monday] for 25 pounds. I was planning to use a venue by Marwell zoo, but everyone liked this years site so much, we shall be returning there, but in a more sheltered and large paddock for up to 60 units.
All the usual legal bits and rules will apply and it will be at own risk, run on the same basis as this years gathering. The only difference is that pitches will be for up to 4 folk and an extra 10 pounds per week, per extra bod over that. No other extra charges will be levied. There are strict rules regarding dogs fouling and litter.
Please show interest by posting on this thread or post and telephone to book your pitch [no deposit, pay on arrival]
Please be sure that you will be attending when booking here. [11 bookings did not 'show' at this years gathering and those pitches could have gone to others]
If you wish to book for definite, then you should confirm by telephone to Paol on: 023 80 482547 "[BT standard rate]

I joined Paol and around 20 other camping units at the 2011 meet on this field during the first week of August. What a lovely bunch of people! Said I would contact my bongo friends to see if they wanted to join me for the week next year. Extremely good value for money and an excellent boot sale to boot! Will be in a separate field next year with a little more shelter from the trees.

I have put my name down for 2012 and invite others to join me for the week. Excellent value for money and the beautiful New Forest a stone's throw.

I know it's a little into the future but I think these places will go quickly. If you're interested let me know and I'll ask Paol to put your names down. Alternatively, you can contact Paol direct, or join Carry On Camping and take it from there.

These are genuinely nice people from all walks of life with all kinds of camping units.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Damn, just noticed this is effectively one week later than the 2011 one and may clash with Endorse It. Still, could do both I suppose ..... Anyone know when Endorse It will be? Nothing on the website yet.

Definitely will clash with Cropredy, second weekend in August. Shame as its a nice site and would suit me fine.

Problem with anything this time of year, there are so many alternatives for each weekend.

It will be a good meet, and even better with bongos attending. Join the Carry on Camping forum (link in original post) and put your name down. Mention me as an introduction if you wish.

I have put my name down but I don't think I'll be able to go, because I believe it clashes with the Endorse It Festival - and I loved working that!

Let me know how you get on. 7 days camping in the New Forest in August for £55 for up to a family of 4. You can't lose!

Hi.

I've decided to definitely join you on this meet in the New Forest. It clashes with a festival I wanted to work, in the same area, but if I did both then I wouldn't be able to bring the dog. I think I'd prefer a relaxing week in the countryside with Cfor.

I've booked the time off work!
