AFT warning bleeper

How does it cut out? I mean, what is the actual device (microswitch?) that causes the bleeper to stop when the roof is fully open? I presume it's located somewhere along the channel. I only ask because mine has become rather temperamental and sometimes doesn't cut out even though the roof is fully open. No similar problem with the close warning.

you may think your roof is fully open but in fact probably just needs a little push up to turn the beep off.

Could well be the microswitch, this thread (one of many) may help -

Might be my imagination, but I find that giving the throttle a little blip seems to help.

Ours started doing the same thing recently - found a wee shove (not too hard, just a light press with the palm of your hand) resolved it - then after reading about this on another entry foung that raising the roof with the enging running seemed to resolve it too

Roof should always be raised with the engine runnning, mine occasionally needs lowering a bit & lifting again a couple of times to get it to lock out, especially if it's been dormant for a while, raising the revs on the engine may help a bit too as it increases the alternator output with load on it.
