Hi people, righty ho it's the Euro finals at the Pod this weekend, who's gonna be there to meet up with. I'll be there for Sat & Sun, would be nice to grab a beer with anyone that's there too.

Hi I will be there but not with Bongo, I have managed to get VIP hospitality tickets through work. I might have a wander round on Bongo watch so might bump into you.

That should be easy to spot, I will wave at you from inside the nice dry hospitality tent, with my plate of caviar in my hand.
I will definitely say hello if i see you.

I'm just about to leave home now. Green Bongo will be round in family camping with Alan-Sooty (ex-Bongo owner).
No Pink Lady Funny Car this time out, she's still poorly
Back next year hopefully.

BongoTerry will be disapointed that "Pink Lady" won't be there.
Unfortunately, Terry went into hospital for an emergency operation
yesterday, we phoned this morning and it's possible he might be out
by Friday. If so he will probably be in the disabled enclosure Saturday
morning. If anyone spots him he would appreciate a visit.
Thanks,
Mum and Dad,
Ben.

I'm out on bail for the weekend so I'm gonna make it after all, however I'm taking the caravan so don't think it is good to use disabled spaces. I'm sure though I'll get a space close to the mound, see ya there I hope.

Andy, sorry to go off topic but what awning is that in the picture? Looking for one like it (have a roll out type already) but just don't know which to go for and how much to spend. It's easier to see how it works when it's actually attached to a real bongo!

Hi just got back, great day, did see quite a few Bongos in the car park. Yours stood out a mile though i could see it from the hill. Did wander past but couldnt see anyone about. Also saw silver with caravan and green with chrome trims and thermal blinds

hi all
yep a very good weekend
seen a few bongos, timing wrong, everyone watching racing
night passes were amazing
kyham stood up to all the winds no problem
hi climbingnut i think its a classic motordome ? the bigger of the 2 types
i had a pole one before - but the wind sorted that one out for me - bent all the poles and wreched it
cant quite remember exactly - but its 3mtr x 3mtr with 1 mtr x 3mtr where it attatches
5-10 minutes to set up and same to pack away - a little longer in winds lol
attaches via figures of 8 - plenty of room inside
use a 600 watt convertor on an extension lead straight in - and lights etc all ready to go
the 1mtr bit is excellent for the porta potti lol -
ive been pod euros for the last 8-9 years now and really the 1st time for night racing
4.9 sec pass friday afternoon - final a bit dissapointing but overall good racing all round
fastest ive seen is a 4.7 2 years ago.
1st time ive tried to add a vid - hope it works

Hi people, well I made it to the Pod as planned, had great grandstand seats too, weather was fine and my niece turned up on Sunday and settled in just in time to see that Euro record smashed, great introduction to drag racing for her, I couldn't go Bongo hunting unfortunately cos being straight out of hospital I had to rest a lot, mainly in the grandstand of course.
On Monday it was back to hospital where they were happy with it all and discharged me properly so next day I drove down to Looe for our Bongo meet, pushing it a bit I suppose but Mum and Dad were on hand just in case.
Next up, British Superbikes at Brands Hatch, so who's up for it?
Terry.
