Yorkshire Dales Icecream Parlour. A visit not to be missed

I just thought I would share this little beauty with you.
On our way back from Bolton Abbey, it was suggested that we stop for an Ice cream. And so we did.
We turned off the A59 looking to find the icecream shack serving a familiar vanilla example. To our surprise we entered the drive to the working farm and found a very well organised and large free car park, set in beautiful surroundings.
We could hear children playing and quickly noted that this was no ordinary Icecream Parlour. It was much, much more. The equipment was all handmade, and set perfectly for the little ones to enjoy the fresh country air.
The buildings are immaculately presented and blend in really well. Providing a designated children’s party room, public conveniences and baby change. Veranda’s to view the play area surround them.
The main Parlour room is set out in the style of a 50’s Diner, all Chrome, crisp and clean. The smell of sweet waffles, pancakes and cool icecream’s fill your senses. The atmosphere is enhanced with subtle music of the era making the comfortable bench style seating send you back to a time of fun.

Mae was not able to eat it all, so Emma completed the task
Then there is the Hot Diggity Dog. This was no ordinary dog. It consisted of Locally Produced Farm Sausage, homemade spicy chilli, tangy cheese and topped with Jalapeno Peppers. Very, very filling.
They are planning on expanding and including an American School Bus, that will be converted to another eating area.
The staff make every dish a work of art and are more than happy to chat with you. Each customer is important to them. A rare quality these days.
So there you have it. If your visiting Skipton, Bolton Abbey or surrounding areas, then pop in for an icecream. You will not be disappointed.
