i'VE JUST GONE BACK TO ORIG MAZDA ONES AFTER 3 YEAR OF AFTERMARKET ONES THAT ENDED UP SHORTING ON ME EVERYTIME I WORKED ON THE BONGO LATELY, I did try magnecore but lost faith when they insisted that a v6 bongo didn't need a coil lead

i even toldd them that i can posatively say all bongo v6s need a coil lead but they weren't having it

so long and short is you will prob have someone near you that can make a set up for you ir it's orig maz ones i'm affraid.

Please beware of buying HT leads from Ignition Car Parts. I ordered HT leads for my Mazda Bongo V6 from
http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk on Sunday night. They were showing in stock, but taking no chances I rang Ignition Car Parts first thing Monday morning. Their guy checked and confirmed they had a set of HT leads in stock, which would be despatched that morning on 24 hour delivery for Tuesday. Result !

Stayed in all day Tuesday to receive the delivery. Late morning two V6 tech manuals which I had ordered from AVA arrived next day as promised, but no HT leads from Ignition Car Parts. Called Ignition Car Parts mid-afternoon and spoke to a second guy who said the HT leads had
not been in stock, but they had got some made (?) which would be shipped that afternoon, and he would e-mail me the tracking code by 5pm.

At 5.30 pm I still had no HT leads from Ignition Car Parts, and no tracking code either. Called them up again and spoke to a third guy who said they had none in stock but they were getting some made (?) which he hoped would be ready for despatch on Wednesday. When I repeated what I had been told on Monday morning he said I was lying : quote “We wouldn't have said that !”. I asked for the manager, so I could speak to someone who cared about customer service, and was told to my amazement that I was already talking to the owner !

In case you hadn't noticed, this was a case of real Bongo Fury by now

, so I cancelled my order. You can buy HT leads from
http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk if you want, but good luck on getting any customer service from them. I will be buying from reputable suppliers in future.

Completely agree, after market sets only ever cause grief, wish this thread was here a month ago when a customer wasnt happy about the price of an original lead set!! as the old saying goes, buy cheap....buy twice!! lol
