Fife Coastal Meet?

No, not Shell Bay... does anyone fancy a day's drive out to East Fife in November, before they start gritting the roads?
Fife has many stunning, expansive and isolated beaches - nothing quite like a blast along the sands in bracing weather.
Some of the beaches I had in mind were
Kingsbarns or
Tentsmuir Forest or
Crail (these are all links to Google Maps) Alternatively, St Andrews would offer plenty distractions or meeting points.
I can't do the 12th or 13th November. Reply on this thread if you might be up for it.

It's a long way for a day meet (or one-nighter) but it has been known before now....

So stop over for two...

(I'll take the kids over the Lomonds - there's a couple of good up and over routes starting from the West.)
Distance (and therefore diesel costs

) would soon disappear as a fading percentage of your annual efforts in that van!

East Fife in November
I take it that we are going to meet up outside the football ground. Who's going to bring the ball?

Do not think I'll be able to make this one, but just incase which beach is it going to be?

They were out up our way on Saturday night spreading pure salt. Luckily I took the motorbike off the road for winter on Saturday morning.

Either will suit me, oh! the joys of retirement. In the past they have usually been on a Sunday as some people have to work on a Saturday.
