We are looking to take our Bongo & caravan to Filey or Bridlington in July & wanted to know if anyone could recommend any campsites. I have never been to the area and Andy went as a child. Any local information would be gratefully received. We are looking for a site that has hook up, shower & toilet facilities & not a million miles from the sea. Thanks in advance.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. We tried the caravan club site but its fully booked for the days we want. Have looked into Blue Dolphin, will book there as last resort. Like the looks of Browns. Thanks for your help. =D>

Haven's Blue Dolphin has no access to any beaches, unless you parachute off the cliffs  - Primrose Valley or Reighton Sands would be better for beach access, except that Haven charge the earth in school holidays and weekends

Cheers John. Dont really want to do a Haven site, unless we cant get anywhere else. We plan to go the week before the schools break up & we are looking into a mon - fri getaway, so it shouldnt be that expensive.

Go Sunday to Thursday instead if you end up with Haven - Fridays count as the weekend.
I use them a lot for midweek breaks, because they are cheap with good facilities - you don't have to watch the "entertainment" I looked into one for the 4 nights following the Southern Softies and it was £7.50 per night all in 8) However, I thought I try some sea fishing so booked with Park Resorts on the Isle of Sheppey for £5.10 per night, also including EHU and "entertainment".
