A spot of research for a Saturday morning....

Well it was a crisp & dry® morning on Saturday so I decided to kill about five birds with one stone and do a spot of research, the underlying reason for which will become apparent around mid-April. From New Brighton on the Wirral the tide was out and the river calm, giving stunning views across to the Liverpool waterfront. An interesting viewpoint too, normally on any picture of the waterfront the Anglican Cathedral is to the right of the Liver Building....

Today’s photos were brought to you by the letter ‘A’ :?

I did get complaints from Muzette on the way back that if I didn’t slow down she was going to be sick, and I was only trying to get to the chippy before it closed :?

Fab pics - reminded me of when I used to have meetings in the very beautiful historic Ports of Liverpool building (St Pauls Cathedral of the North) .. stunning inside where it has been restored too ... I think you are able to have a nose in the foyer if you smile nicely at the security guard - well worth a peak (although it may have all changed now)

Yes, they used to do tours up the Liver Building towers too, you could get out onto the tower and up a spiral staircase but no more, it could be dangerous :(
