soon off to get some work done(think head) so i removed my veg oil kit for now.
will decide later to re fit it or not depending on the outcome of work, dont want to make it harder to work on.
found that the water connections were leaking and may have caused our problems all along.

******The kit i got uses a small heatexchanger and 1/2 inch heater hose is ment to fit it,the the tails on the heatexchanger are smaller than 1/2 inch thus you have toalways tweek up jubilee clip, and constaint presure clips are not tightenough to make a seal.
The way round this is to goto a bigger
heatexchanger that has 16mm tails so then you use 16mm hose and this will be good tight for all the connections and hose ts.
I have no issue with veg oil in cars at all if done propperly, but ive been let the cash to fix the bongo and dont fancy hacking into coolant hoses again at the moment..
gould go 50/50 mix infact iam on almost that now and it starts/runs fine.
Kits are only any good on long runs anyhow,at at the moment we are doing short trips
So if you fit anything to coolant hoses ,make sure its the right size!!!!!!!!
