Excellent news Brora, and great to hear the old Bongo is still doing sterling service. :-)

Don't encourage him Mike. Donald is becoming as bad as Ady. All the bits of Bongo junk in Scotland seems to end up with Donald. :---)

Hoy, 'Bongo junk' - cheeky bugger !
The wheels are looking really good :D . Hope you managed to get the job done for a reasonable price. It is def worth shopping around for this kind of job.
I found that the handling when they were fitted was probably better than my current steels with the same make and size of tyres. Unlike a lot of imports I know a bit about the previous owner as mine was not bought from an auction house. He was a professional mechanic so he must have known what wheels suited the Bongo.
Anyway,all the best

If the rims are as good as you say Geoff I would have had them myself and passed on my current ones in exchange. No problem with them but I really like the look of the ones you gave Donald.

As for the bits of junk I was referring (well mostly) to the bits and pieces that Donald has had off me.   ( :^o )

Have to admit they looked a bit rough with the paint peeling off ,but he has done a great restoration job on them.Yes, I like the rounded 'minilite - ish' look too.
