Bongo Fury

Hi to all but particularly you V6’ers.

You may have noticed my post in the techie section illustrating the broken camshaft front cap from my Bongo.

Well it is now obvious that I need to replace the complete head and I have sourced a reconditioned pair from way down south.
What I need now is to find somewhere to do the strip down and replace. So I’m looking for someone that has worked on V6 engines and preferable replaced heads. The Bongo is sitting on my drive with the RH side cam cover off and various bits detached and at the moment it would appear that I may have to have it uplifted and shipped to wherever so actual distance from me (Aberdeen) is probably not an issue.
So anyone got some good suggestions please

I had this work done, exactly the same job I suspect, at Wellhouse Leisure near Huddersfield.

Hi Grahame, I am picking up my Bongo today from Dairsie Autopoint near St Andrews where it has been in for a service. I will ask him if it is something he does or can he recommend someone. It is certainly nearer than Huddersfield. I will also ask a friend in your area who runs a Triumph Stag if he can recommend someone.
