Nice one, now head South and see if bereaucracy is so understanding! Nearly every car park in this part of the country is covered with signs and meters. Telling you to do this or you can't do that. It's the local councils way of getting extra taxes. Hitting the motorist yet again.
I visit Canada quite a lot and they have got i right over there. I asked my son iin la how they get away with no speed camera or parking fees and low taxes on fuel. Simple he said, the car is king. If a counciller dares menton anything against the car they'll never get elected again.

Good, sound, common sense.

Don't you love our money being spent on signs saying, "Tirdeness kills, take a break", and then more of our money being spent on signs saying, "No overnight parking, no sleeping in vehicles...", and camera enforcement plus fines if you stay over 2 hours in motorway services.

Are lorries exempt from all of this??

Often see lorries parked up overnight in what appear to ordinary laybys.

Big tatty old coach turned into a camper van been parked up near us in a layby on A road for a couple of weeks now. Appears to be lived in without any problems.

We have a big tatty van with a solar pannel on the roof and a cottage door fixed to its side parked in our road just now. The brother of the woman who lives opposite is visiting.
