I am going Thursday in a Flowery Hippy White/Silver V6 at woodlands.
Luke, I wouldn't plan on leaving Sunday, you gotta stay for the celebrations of a Button and Hamilton 1,2 :D :D .
I hope they empty the toilets a bit more often this year or I am going to dig a hole

...glad you got the correct finishing order!!

Look forward to meeting you all *fingers crossed* .. I am so hoping for weather better than last year!! Didn't get any chance to sit outside in the chairs and we stepped out to a lake of mud .. YECH!!
Parked next to a Bongo last year (not a member of Fury  ) and will copy him this year, as he parked at right angles to the 'road' and then had his awning running the length of the pitch .. rather clever, I thought.

Carole - Winnebongo's keeper .. she's a light blue barearse (sic)

We are planning on getting there for about 11am Thursday.
Has anybody received a camping pass for their vehicle this year for woodlands?
I had one last year, but did not get one this time with the camping tickets. When I phoned silverstone the girl on phone wasn't sure, so asked someone else and came back to me to say they have not sent out enough this year as there was a problem printing them. #-o

Strange ours came with the tickets, like a window sticker saying quiet or lively campsite.

What camping essentials do we need to pack?
Got a cadac and a cool box but planning on buying most food, got waterproofs and wellies on the list too.

Loads of beers :D :D
I am going to give Silverstone a ring in the morning again.
I don't want to be turning up and then have a problem with the campsite
Are you GA or Grandstand?

We are at Club Corner at the beginning of international straight. We sat in the same seats last year and it was a great view coming out of Vale and also of podium.
Lets hope the weather is a bit better this year. I think last year it rained at the beginning of every practice and quali.

We were in Club A stand last year (and camping in Woodlands) and like you say, great view through Club corner and onto start/finish straight, and good potential for fence-free shots if you were high enough in the stand, which we were.

You should have roving stand seats for Saturday, make good use of them. Good shots from the stands on Stowe corner during qualifying & free practice.

We were skinflints - took all our food & drink with us
