Right then…. 2 days to go and we are finally ready to take Miranda (our bongo) over to France for the first time….! (It is actually her second since we bought her as we lent her to our Canadian Cousins last summer, but the first time we have taken her over the Channel ourselves!)
Miranda has been serviced, the trailer is packed and the Ferries and campsites are booked: the delights of the Dordogne await (as does a few bottles of vin rouge! )… we just have to survive the journey down there with two excited and (very) loud toddlers (I think DVDs of Peppa Pig and anything by Disney might help a keep our sanity a little)
Wish us luck!

Have a great time. Make sure you've got all the nonsense they require over there - Hi-Viz jackets for all the occupants, (within reach, you have to put them on before you exit the vehicle), first aid kit, warning triangle, breathalyser kit, spare bulbs etc etc.
Take a camera and have a fantastic time!!

Oh Enjoy! We are just back and had an awesome time. I am so jealous! We were surprised to find that although the shops were closed on a Sunday that most of the villages have a market.

Hope you are having a great time. We've just got back from France ( motorbike trip ) but definitely planning a Bongo trip - either later this year or definitely next year
