Good Afternoon everyone,

I do hope not everyones brain cells have been melted in this glorious sunshine as i need some help please.

I have owned my Bongo for a year and regularly read the forum, recently i have scanned most of it looking for an answer.

My Bongo is sounding a series of Beeps which are slightly higher than the reversing ones and no more than 10 in one sucession.
As of yet i have not been able to pinpoint the source or actually say what i'm doing driving wise to make it happen!!

It doesn't happen every day and is very random when it does, ie 2 mins after engine starts or an hour or so!

I have already contacted Mr Lambert as my local Bongo Brigadier and he suggested that i ask all you.

sorry to be vague but i hope someone can help! :P

Next time it happens try and check for:

location of beeping
any flashing lights on the dash
driving conditions at the time

daft question but you don't have parking sensors fitted do you?

Hi Veg_Ian

Sorry for the delay in replying, children have finished school !!

there are no reversing sensors, my mirror does an excellent job.
the beeps come from the space between the stereo to the steering wheel.
i am now concentrating on exactly what speeds and driving conditions there are although so far its nothing obvious!

Oh and no there's no flashing lights on dash.

i know thats no help at all - i'll be back soon

P

Very funny Pippin !!
