love it -good news from JDS too -
so glad you appreciated the beautiful antique Alan if i was not being so nice these days i would say it takes one to know one.
my awning not dried out yet keep taking it out of the bongo and propping it half up up in the drive at work go back in then it rains more still at least it isnt as muddy now.

Well worth the wait Brian, some great shots there matey ( shots..........get it )
Jo.. moment of fame didn't enter into it, I just wanted to wind up Brian
You can see from the pics why Oz has made me his fashion guru, but on reflection the ensemble would have been more complete with the tw*t hat.
Great news Jo.

Hello Jo & All!
A brief posting to say "thank you" for making us so welcome last weekend. What a shame the weather was not as bright, sunny and warm as it is here this morning...but never mind it was a most enjoyable experience....mud 'n all! I learned a lot (ie glow plugs, awning pegging out, tyre pressures, rear wheel arches etc etc etc) and I thank you for that.
As some are aware I travelled on to the Windermere C&CC site from Allithwaite - again the weather was against us - hale, rain, thunderstorms, winds (had to put the top down on two occasions) - but otherwise all OK. It is very pleasant site - the only negative I can report is that the hardstanding was similar to concrete when knocking in awning pegs. I suspect all the summer monsoons had affected the materials they have used - others (burly males) were having mega problems too. Next investment....screw-in type pegs & a cordless drill!!
Ah well, off to dry everything out and give Maisie a good clean. Take care everyone & we look forward to meeting you all again soon.
Hazel, Herman & Maisie
PS My pleasure sharing the pasta!
