Firth of Forth

Venue: On the front between the road and rail bridge,B924, Newhalls Road car park (opposite ‘The two Bridges’ Hotel) South Queensferry.

Organiser: Dunslair

Park up and enjoy iconic views of the Forth Bridges. Then there is a choice of three pubs / eateries if lunch is required. Meet up at 11.00am for a ‘bit of a chin wag’, spot of lunch (either picnic or pub), bit more of a ‘chin wag’, then we could possibly leave in convoy for a drive over the Forth Road Bridge and back?

Excellent choice of venue. A photo I keep meaning to stop and take, the converging bridges.

Mixed blessings Tony.... happy for you that you have sold the van, but also sorry for you that it has gone! At least the new owners will be getting a well looked after van! Of course you are allowed to come in your jeep. Any plans for the replacement for the Bongo yet? I expect nothing less than 100% luxury mobile Gin (Scotch) palace!

All the best

David. :D

Much as we'd like to come to this, there's icecreams on offer at the Yorkshire Dales meet and donkey-rides at the Lytham St Annes meet. But the lure of the haggis might prove too much
