Hi guys this is the latest regarding our convoy across the forth bridge.
I've had a call this afternoon from forth bridge traffic management .they are going to allow us to gather between 14.00hrs to14.30hrs on the Sunday in the wide load lane(extreme left),we are gathering there and once we are ready to cross they will stop the traffic for a short period so we can all be escorted across by the bridge patrol.i have agreed to come off at rosyth at the park and ride car park so we can split up etc .this would let the northeners and filers to go north and wouldn't need to cross back over(if they want).next item was if the edin evening news are doing a article the bridge manager will allow us let him take photos at the x,s load lane pavement or they can go on the pedestrian path on the bridge and take photos as we set off in convoy.hope you all agree this is a good bit of news from the bridge,I thanked them very much and the parting word from the boss man was his mates got a bongo,!still to find out if he is attending
Happy bongo aniversary
1/20xno of vehs arrive at sw abnormal load bay directly in line with slip from each line approach approx14.15hrs
2/ laird to contact and advise bridge of arrival,
