Bongo Fury

This meeting will be held from Thursday 16 to Monday 21 May at the Sands site north of Gairloch, Wester Ross and we have an allocation of 25 pitches, all with electric hook up.

This is a members only meeting and you can book from 9.30am on Thursday 28 February.

If you see this Ian, I've only just seen the post, and will be ringing in the morning (1st March) to book. I hope I can get in because I've arranged a 2 and a half week holiday around this meet!!!!!

We're hoping to get to this (we love Gairloch) but we won't know until much nearer the time if we'll be able to get time off work etc.

Hopefully we'll be there for Fri and Sat at the very least but will have to book nearer the time when we've sussed out leave and school commitments,

We're also going to try and attend going to have to wait a little and sort work situation first but cert up for this.it would be good if we were in convoy picking up members from different areas en route

We have 25 places, and 7 have gone so far. So you should be Ok. We are breaking our journey at Crianlarich on the way up.

Ian if we could pick upon you heading north we might tag along

I now have access, next problem how many days to attend.

We are booked for the duration. So looking forward to it. Will probably stop somewhere near Lancaster the night before, also on the way back. See yous the noo !

Phew! I've booked nearly all the campsites for the rest of the holiday.

I'll be stopping at:

Tebay Services, Penrith (breakfast)
Stonehaugh Campsite (Hadrians Wall 2 nights)
A CL site at Denny, near Falkirk (1 night)
Red Squirrel - cos I've heard so much about it (2 nights)
Culloden Moor CC site (1 night)
Gairloch (3 nights)
Gartfairn Farm, Loch Lomond (hopefully haven't rung yet) (1 night)
Broom Fisheries, Annan (Combicampers meet but without the combi as too many moves) (3 nights)
Tackeroo or someplace halfway (1 night) - any suggestions? Cheap and cheerful and near to the M6?

Been planning since Christmas with Muz's help!

Argggg! the date of the meet. I will be there in my new wheels as a loner if I am free. Can't book at the moment as I am expecting my old college pal from the Middle East to be here for a holiday, his wife and youngest daughter will be with him. He has not booked yet but he is aiming to be here at the end of May and spend a month with us. So I will just have to see how it goes.

We're booked from the Friday onwards as we don't know if we can get the Thursday off work as well. If we can then we'll extend our booking nearer the time.
