Rear folding seats

Hi,
I'm looking at buying a bongo that has a rear sliding bench seat, which I'd like to remove and fit the rear folding seats from the bongo I own now.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible? I'm wondering if the folding seat fixing points are hidden under the interior trim in the bongos with rear bench seats. Hoping this is the case as it may be the deciding factor for changing to a newer van.
Your help would be much appreciated if you can advise

I think you will find they have to be welded into position, they won't be on the sliding version, others have had it done in the past.

Thanks for the info, that's a shame.
I don't suppose a breakers will have those fixing points on their shelves

Here is a thread

Our Bongo has had this done, but before we bought it, so I can't comment on the process. What I don know is that Ava Leisure did this conversion, so they may be able to advise.

It's a good mod. IMO. The fold up seats are much more flexible, with the only downside being lack of headrests and less comfort in the middle seat at the rear.
Cheers, Dave.

Thanks for the info fellas.
Having found a photo of the seat fixing points, fully revealed with all internal trim removed, it doesn't look too demanding a job for a welder, if I can get the parts. I'm going to try finding a breakers that can supply some suitable trim panels and the fixing points from a deceased bongo. Anyone know of a likely supplier in South Devon??

Lots of choice in the SW region:
Allans Vehichle Services in Plymouth
Clearcut conversions now in Barnstaple
Westward Leisure in Bideford (not really doing much Bongo stuff these days)
