MOT advisory - anti roll bar bush/pin??

Phoebe Freda is due her MOT soon, so I dug out the previous certificate to check the advisories as I had a worrying clunking noise happening the other day, felt like it was coming from the back end. I had a poke around but couldn't see anything obvious and exhaust looks intact and didn't wobble when I poked it. However, it's stopped now (though taking it to garage this morning to get it checked out).
Anyhoo, on the previous MOT the advisories say "anti-roll bar bush/pin worn" on all 4 wherever-it-is they sit's. Now, not being a technical type, I have no idea what these are, though I'm perfectly capable of looking them up in the member store here. And, sure enough, I can find anti-roll bar bushes (little rubber thingummies?), but not pins. Anyone got any bright ideas or was that iust the previous garage using general terminology (before I owned the van)? I want to be able to look up all the parts to see if I can get them more cheaply than the garage.
Thanks!

Standard split pins should do the job! pennies worth.

Split pin in upper left corner, you can see just the silver "eye" of the pin.

Anti-roll bars/bushes, drop links and other suspension components don't have any split pins (as far as I recall). The only thing I am aware of is the track rod end shown in the photo above.
Probably not much use now, but if you get any more advisories, ask the to garage to explain exactly what the problem is, and if possible get them to show you the parts on the van.

Hi,the MOTT generally cover parts that they can not visually inspect IE "anti-roll bar bush/pin worn" would mean "bush and OR anti roll bar bush running surface (pin)worn.

Thanks for the replies - yes, I can see a little silver thing in the photo. Still not really sure what it is in the grand scheme if things, never having seen a car being dissected, so I'll take the word of you guys!
So, next question...took it to the garage this morning, who fortunately couldn't see anything too wrong, power steering fluid a bit low - I forgit to ask if that's something I can top up?
Also, advisories for MOT: "front suspension arm lower rear bushes showing slight signs of wear" and "both track rod end rubber covers showing slight perishing." Now, this track rod one they thought would be expensive, as they didn't think the rubber cover was available on its own, they said it comes as a whole new track rod and is expensive - about £140 each! I gulped a bit and said I'd ask on here to see if any of you clever folks can point me in the direction of somewhere I can just get the rubber bit.
If anyone does know the parts I'm looking for, please can you give me some direct links so I can find them? I did have a look in the shop here, and found something that sounds similar, but not knowing anything about this I'd rather have someone who knows point me in the right direction!
Thanks!

Hi
The track rod end is in the Club Shop at £14.00 ...the rear bushes may refer to the wishbone bushes???? They are usually bought with the wishbone, but can be bought separately.
If the garage is asking for £140.00 for a track rod end, they may be a nice caring garage who wish to send the part via courier on a trip up the Limpopo River so that it can see a bit of the world before being fixed to your Bongo....HOWEVER, I'd take your Bongo elsewhere for a second opinion
Cheers

LOL, thanks! The garage isn't a bongo specialist, though they do deal with them a lot. But they may be less familiar with what bits can be supplied separately (especially if they've got a supplier trying to sell them the most expensive bits possible, presumably), so I'll point them in the direction of a few options and see what they say. If they're not keen, then yes; I'll see if someone else can do the work.
So I've done some hunting but could do with an experienced eye to say if these are what I'm looking for (I know they're on the club site too but can't link to individual items there):
Are
these things here the bush thingies it's referring to?
...And might
these ones here be the track rod end whatsits?
Really hoping so...

Hi
Impossible to say what the guy means without asking him to write it down so we can take a look.
REAR bushes is not likely to be the rollbar bushes, but if he is a mechanic, then he would have used the term anti-roll bar bushes. The only "rear" bushes are those in the REAR of the wishbone. We can point you in the direction of the parts if needed.
Should there be any problem related to the wishbone, they (wishbones) are available complete for £150-160.00 complete with ball-joint and bushes....
Before lashing out on the wrong bits, see if the "mechanic" will physically show you what's required , then you'll know for sure...None of the replacement "bits" on the front are a hard job.
Cheers

Fingers very firmly crossed he's not referring to the wishbones, eh?
I quoted exactly what he wrote, earlier:
"front suspension arm lower rear bushes showing slight signs of wear"
"both track rod end rubber covers showing slight perishing"
I thought what I could do is email him the links to the parts and just ask if those are what he means.
Thanks for your help.

hi
Try this:

He may be referring to part 34-470
or:

Part 34-156A
The track rod end you already know
Cheers

Well, thanks to your help with finding me the diagrams, and emailing those and a link to the AVA shop to my van's garage, all - hopefully correct - parts now bought, repairs and MOT tomorrow. Fingers very firmly crossed!
