				Hi All,
I have some new speakers on the way for the front and rear of the van.
I have searched, but I can't spot how you remove the rear speakers.
I tried leavering them off with a screwdriver last night but no joy.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,the covers do not come off (not meant to come off)you need to remove the complete panel trim.
Does the vehicle already have rear speakers fitted.

I don't know yet to be honest. Need to get the real panel off tonight.
Assuming speakers arrived. Is it a nightmare if it doesn't have them already?

Depends: if the speakers are missing, the wiring often is too.

You Might be able to see if there are speakers/wiring if you remove the wee tray thing and shine a flash light through the hole.
I think the rear speaker wiring (if fitted)should be visible from under/around the centre console,Geoff will probably advise.

don't worry if there is no speaker wires, its an easy run from the stereo to the rear panels via the center console and under the carpet

Thanks all, I will have a look later. Really hope I already have some speakers in.
However, I reckon even I can run a wire through the console etc. Cheers.

The odd thing about my van was although there were no speakers in the back, or even the brackets & no evidence they were even fitted in the first place. The speaker loom & plug was there!!

Hi, I have just fitted a new stereo and thankfully whoever had it before me had already fitted an iso connector. The old stereo was a Sony and they had fitted an adapter to fit it which i just removed allowing the straight plug to the iso.
My problem is my rear speakers have never worked. When I bought it three years ago the chap mentioned something about it but i have long since forgotten why he said they weren't working. The correct coloured wires appear to be there at the iso connector and in the right place. I have looked into the rear outer cover of the speaker and I can see some sponge covering. Does this mean there are actually speakers in there or is this the reason for no rear sound, there aren't any??
Oh, and how do you get the plastic tray above the stereo off. When i had the stereo out i could not seem to find a clip to release it and did not want to pull too hard and break it.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Chris.

As you may have found out..,

There should be retainer clips either side of the 1 din unit.. I just removed the glove box & put my hand up to unclipped & push out the one side then jiggled & pulled it forward.
