Bongo Fury

I lost my white nylon washers that space the roofbars. Are metal washers good enough or is there a reason for the nylon?

Bought them from the bongo shop at the bongo bash one year. Think they were home made. Steel tubing and a rectangular folded footing.

I would have thought a couple of suitable large flat washers under each foot would be ok.

Lost my roof bar spacers. Need replacements.
