Hi all
Just joined the club and bought my first bongo lt week. The radiator was leaking so the garage I bought it from sent me a new one-fitted that this morning but cannot sort the bleeding (appropriate name! Lol)
Also lost a little gearbox oil during the change.
Where do I top up the gearbox oil and anyone in mid cheshire I could drive to for a bit of help re the bleeding? Gutted I'm missing the best weekend of the year to go bongoing :(
Thanks
Ken

If you '' search" .. there are loads of posts on the bleeding procedure as it is quite involved ..

As the gearbox is cooled from the bottom of the radiator ..you will have lost a small amount of Dexon3 auto fluid when you removed the two pipes from the bottom of the radiator ..

Check the fluid while warm .. with the hand brake hard on .. the box in 'P' .. and the engine .. RUNNING ..

The fluid is topped up down the dip stick tube ..

Bleeding complete ! Never though I would be so pleased with myself with what used to be an easy task on other vehicles. The videos are brilliant and wouldn't have done it properly without them
Thank you all
The bongo is going to the lakes next weekend now !
