Have just discovered the existence of the glorious Bongo!

We are looking for a new main car. Currently have a Scenic which has done us proud and have been courting the idea of Transporter/Vito for a couple of years. They just weren't quite cutting the mustard for what we needed and expensive. So this year started to think about going a bit more Sedona, Galaxy route. We have £5000 to spend and know we can get a much newer (safer?) car for that price than spending the same on a Bongo. But..... there is an N reg diesel 4x4 Bongo for £4750 sitting on the verge just up the road from us and it keeps calling to us!!

Concerns are age of vehicle & fuel consumption. Will be needed for general pootling about, school runs, work, shopping etc but have family 300 miles away so needs to cope with motorway driving too.

HELP! Do we go for sensible, economic, dare I even say boring 7 seater car or the all singing all dancing fun wagon? Definitely a head or heart decision!

Any advice greatly received.

Many Thanks
