Just finished fitting a propex system. Cost £430 from www.vwheretage.co.uk for the complete kit.Runs off the gas bottle supplying the hob, easy to fit if your ok with DIY! Problem I had ( as have many others on here with fully converted bongos ) the hole at the rear where you hide the bottle is only big enough to allow a camping gaz sized bottle, being butane this is no good when very cold ...propane ( red bottles ) are required. Took the rear section off, cut the wardrobe floor in half and batterned back up to allow for a false floor ....I'm now able to 'drop' a 3.9kg bottle in from the top rather than through the rear door but this allows us to use our bongo in colder weather.

Really pushes the heat out ....The propex heater that is!

Do a search on here for Eberspacher or Webasto. There are also 2 factsheets in the members area.

They make very good day heaters too!

We had a Webasto fitted about four years ago and it was worth every penny, from being able to go to bed warm and wake up warm, to warming up after a chilly walk or standing around watching our son playing rugby in bitter conditions (made a nice warm place for him to change, too!)
