Hi Margaret,
I was wondering the same myself!! Typically, someone decides a venue, starts a thread, polls for a few dates and then sets the date. Whoever wants to come will come - it's not easy to arrange by concensus. Unless you're keen to propose yourself, something should come along soon, for sure...
Red Squirrel some time next month? Drumroamin Farm in April?
Whereabouts in Scotland are you?
Matt.

Ah! another one from Glasgow. You can't be far from Mulshy, Dave & Fiona live in Barhead. Send him a PM if you are desperate or information at the moment.

Re: Any Scottish meets ?
Hi Stevie, good to hear from you again. Are you still Bongoless or have you got the itch to buy your third Bongo coming on. Sold my Bongo to some peeps living just outside Dunbar almost exactly a year ago on the boss's orders. Still a member of the club and turn out for the meets in my new wheels. But I do miss the 4WD of my Bongo, had to be towed out of the mud by Matt's Bongo on my first time out.

Re: Any Scottish meets ?
Yeah Stevie. Last year I was at both the Scottish bash at Gairloch and the Tough Northerners meet at Clitheroe in my new wheels. I also went over the Forth Bridge with the crowd in Mulshy's Bongo after driving there in my Jeep. My old college pal came over from Baghdad with his wife and youngest daughter and spent 6 weeks with us which meant that I missed the Red Squirrel meet. I hope to get to the next Red Squirrel meet but I am a bit worried about the steep entrance to this campsite even though my 6m long motorhome does not have a big overhang.
Red Squirrel Campsite can be a dangerous place. I once reversed into Mulshy's tent in my Bongo just as it was going dark and had to make a contribution for him to buy a new one. In my new wheels I will probably flatten his Bongo as well. Arrrrg!

Think you might need something a bit bigger to flatten a Bongo TonyMountainGoat wrote: In my new wheels I will probably flatten his Bongo as well. Arrrrg!
