Relocating front heater controls

Hi all - I am thinking of trying to move the heater 'head unit' and swapping it from right to left so my radio is under the vents and more easily accessible as it is a bit of a reach for the volume knob which is on the LHS of the radio head unit. What do I need to disconnect and is there much slack in whatever comes out the back of the heater?

Cheers

If you've got digital controls it should be easier than mechanical version. I've seen it done.

Hi
You mean that I could find the true meaning of the Beatle's LPs "Revolver" and "The White Album" by playing a CD upside down?     ....QUICK....I'm off to try it out
