Modified Temp Gauge & Faulty Thermostat

Hi all first post but a very regular visitor for the last few months.
I just wanted to recommend the temp gauge mod which has just saved me a potential expensive bill .
Just had the coolant system sorted for peace of mind (new rad, pipes, pump etc) and afterwards the van seemed to be running a quite a bit hotter on gauge (just under H) with the fans on more regularly compared to previously. Went back to bongo specialist who checked the newly fitted thermostat only to find it was sticking and then firing open at 90 degC (should have started at 82). New stat fitted and all is now well with the gauge rising and falling to the cycle of the thermostat.
So thanks for all the tips etc and for such a small outlay recommend this mod.
