Bongo Fury

Thinking about getting one of these after pay day and was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me:

1. Where do you get them from
2. How much are they
3. Do they need to be fitted by a mechanic (partner and I are not mechanically minded in the slightest)
4. How do they work and do they monitor the water levels all the time

3. Quite easy to fit but if its not your forte then maybe better to get someone else involved - or bring it to the National Bash I'm sure someone will help you fit it!
4. It senses the presence of the coolant using a probe (screw) fitted to the tank, if the level falls below the probe then the Alarm goes off, its working all the time the ignition is turned on. When you turn the ignition on then it does a self check and beeps briefly just so your sure its OK.

Thank you that's really helpful! We've talked about the bongo bash and would love to go, but it's a long drive from Devon and we can't really afford it this month. Otherwise that would of been a very good solution

I take it the £78.95 bongo alarm is what most ppl buy?

I also have an additional temp gauge, but they sell a unit that does both in one unit

It well worth it for piece of mind.
You can buy Ebay versions but in my experience these are of much better quality and a proven reliable design.
If you are struggling to fit it I am sure some one locally will help you out its a quite simple job

If you are feeling the pinch you cant go wrong with one of these.

We have one with 2 sensors.

You push the button before a journey to make sure this is a decent amount of coolant.
