Having been alerted to this little festival by the Wild Campers, I've just bought a ticket with 3 nights campervan camping. Anyone else wanna join me?
http://www.newforestfolkfestival.co.uk/line-up.html
£80 for 4 days, £5 a night for camping or campervan/motorhome. Toilets and fresh water on campsite.
Steeleye Span headlining. I'll be going Friday night through to Monday morning cos I can't get the Friday off.

Just saw this - We're already going! Its one of the few festivals that are accessible if you have dogs with you. And our mutts go everywhere with us.
Purbeck's the week before isn't it? Should be good. Unfortunately the four legged fuzzies do mean we can't attend some

 but that's understandable.
Maybe we can catch up at the new forest though, always good to see another bongo fan.

Cropredy is another mutt friendly folk festival, although it is becoming a lot bigger and commercial in recent years.

				That looks really good.
Can't make it this time though, have to be back home on the Saturday to drop off the dogs and then drive to Swansea and back that evening for a family party. May give it a go next year though - fortunately 50th anniversaries don't come round that often

We'll find each other I'm sure in the campervan field but I'll try to pm you beforehand. I'll put my flag up too.

				Hi Jilly.
We are on our way. Felt we had to be there for the Morris dancing show tonight. Couldn't miss that could we! I'm also wondering why the English language has an exclamation mark, but not a sarcasm mark, I feel it would have come in handy after that last sentence.
Will see you Friday when you both arrive.
Mat & Ness.
(And Max n Minnie too)

Look forward to meeting you Mat & Ness, etc.

Mary not now coming, but I'm sure there'll be loads of bongos! There were at Purbeck.

Well the campervan section isn't that busy yet. Still only Friday morning though. We are actually in the furthest corner from the entrance gate (managed to get a north facing pitch so our solar gets the best light. So far so good, music starting up lunchtime today.
See you later.

Yeah it was a cracking weekend, everyone we met was great, and the music was excellent. Feast of Fiddles on the Sunday night were excellent!
Nice to actually meet someone from here, so Jilly, we'll catch you again soon I hope!

You four really made my weekend, Matt! Thank you for your company. It was a lovely festival with flat level camping and a gentle slope down to the wooden stage - everyone could see unless one geezer with a pint in his pocket stands in the middle of the seated audience!
Only problem is that next year's festival falls on the BH weekend, which means it will clash with other festivals, although 4 days (Wednesday to Sunday is appealing!) I know Matt you got your ticket for next year but I'll wait and see.
Look forward to seeing you again soon.
