Rural CL seaside campsite recommendations, anyone?

Just wondering if anyone knew of any gems of campsites within spitting distance of the sea? I've trolled through Camping and Caravan CL sites but nothing particular jumping out. We'd be taking the caravan and needs to be dog friendly too.

Not fussed on location, apart from being near the sea (and probably not in the North of Scotland as for the price of the fuel I could fly and stay in a 5* hotel!)

Great on at St Davids, West Wales, and another just outside Tenby.

Come to the Isle of Wight.

We are surrounded by beaches :)

Thanks one and all for the replies -

Bob - we went to Tenby last year ironically, so will try somewhere different this year, will look at St Davids, thanks.

Stinky - would love to come to the island and have already looked but unless we leave home at silly o'clock to get an early, or late ferry it adds £400 (with caravan) to the holiday. I love the idea, just don't think the funds will stretch that far this year. We do do day trips there every now and again by buying attraction tickets with the ferry incredibiy cheaply.

Franco - Thanks will check those out, nice and local too, so would save a bob or too on fuel :)
