Need Somewhere Splendid To Stay in Torbay area.
Hi there SW peeps. Thought I'd dip my toes into your neck of the woods as I need some tips.
Our little entourage are going to a party in Torquay next weekend, July 11th. We're taking the friday & monday off work to make a proper weekend out of it.
Question being, where would be the best site (fairly) close to town, in terms of views, atmosphere & friendlyness?

The Deer Park is a lovely site and very close to Torquay. We stayed there a couple of years back and it was very good, Bar and outside swimming pool.

I agree with Tim on that one, we stayed there the same time as he did, great site plenty to see in the area, great pub on site and not far from Dartmouth, enjoy your week end Chris and family

Hello Mr M,
http://www.uptonmanorfarm.co.uk/
This site is only a few minutes drive from Torquay, it has really good reviews, I've not stayed here myself as it's only a short distance from my home. Dearpark is also excellent but does involve either using the Dartmouth ferry or a drive through Totnes which can be very congested.
Enjoy your visit to the bay & I'll give you a wave, you may be waving a lot loads of Bongos here!

Hi sajafi, have a look at the Innis inn and fly fishery-and camp site, it's just down the road from me, never been there but it's only 1 mile from the eden project and near to St.Austell for shopping , new cinema etc- may be ideal
