Bongo Fury

Going down to the Gower for a few days in ten days time and just wondering if anyone as any recommendations for a site, any help appreciated and many thanks Andy.

Ooh I love the Gower - I used to live near there for over 25 years.

Personally I like the campsite above Three Cliffs Bay - great views if you can get a good spot and it shouldn't be so busy now. At least for its location - I don't know what the facilities are like. I was thinking of going there myself this month but will have to postpone until October or next year.

Site of the Welsh Bash, bak in the spring, was fabulous.

If I scratch my head the name will bubble up.

Port Eynon rings a bell, just need the site name.

Useful since the campsite of your choice might depend mostly on what you want to do and whether you like walking or not.

Lovely site, very clean, a bit breezy at times and there's a choice of two chippies in the village. Only thing lacking is a nice cosy pub although The Ship is apparently under new ownership and sounds like it will be lovely when finished.

We scrounged the last pitch here as a late arrival and woke up to spectacular views.
