Post by khisanth » Fri Mar 27, 2015 2:06 pm

Hi all i am going to be fitting my philips dlr to my bongo soon to my bongo.

I have done research as to where they need to go legally and there is no ruling as to position on retrofits

I am after suggestions of locations to put them. So if you have any dlr or other lights fitted please share your pictures

Depends what age yours as to what the front end looks like. Here are some ideas if its pre-1999:

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

Thanks :). That's my old van but the mesh was a sheet from Halfords which I fitted primarily to stop stones damaging the radiator but as bonus is also looked quite nice. I had to trim the sheet to fit and it's held in place with some silver cable ties that you can just make out on the vertical fins above the alloy sump protector & the others are hidden by the number plate.

Here you go, the ones under the headlights come on with ignition, the lower ones, which I have moved to the foglights are on with sidelights.

Still working on mine as I'm going to add a red pin stripe around the matt black area around the fog lights and I still need to fit DLR in the spaces next to the number plate.
