Hi there.
I've just bought an Easy camp Silverstone awning. I thought that the beading on the awning would fit into the channel on the top of the Fiamma case, but the beading is too big.
Anybody had similar problems?
Or am I doing it wrong?
Thanks
Andy

Re: Fiamma f35 pro beading channel
There seems to be two sizes, on the F45 its only the plastic end piece that defines the size, the actual tube seems a lot bigger, so have often thought that if I needed to use it I might drill the hole a trifl larger!

Thanks Geoff. Seems there's a kit to get to adapt to the smaller Fiamma channel.
More money!!!

It sounds like you need to 4 to 6mm kador strip: http://camperessentials.co.uk/shop/4-6m ... -omnistor/

Re: Fiamma f35 pro beading channel
Reserection time
I've looked though old threads and cant find what I need.
I have a Fiamma f35 pro 2.5m wide, I wish to add a driveaway awning (width 2.8m)
the awning brackets interfere with using figure of 8 on the gutter.
I've tried Kador strip (4x6) but does not fit in the thin channel at the top rear of the fiamma.
also using the t3 brackets would require leaving the strip attached.
There is not a channel under the lid like the omnistore.
what other options have been used with this configuration?
Have considered custom straps to the roof loops (swmbo needs to get busy)
Tying guyrope was quick and easy, undoing it less easy.
Using a pole with fabricated P hooks on rear of box also concidered.
must be an easier way

Does your Fiamma have the slot in the front, where the 4-6mm adapter fits:

The drawing is of a f45. The f35 cant mount a driveaway awning. I tried every which way but still lost. See my post of 2/2/18.
I eventually won by mounting a stand alone aluminium rail on brackets attached to the f35.
