So I'm looking for places to take the niece and nephew over the summer hols for around 5 days.
Following a great website about wild swimming, as I'd rather be near fresh water, so the kids can play (maybe me also

).

Something quite right with that pic.

and the prices are good too.
Going on top of my list for now.
Anyone got any suggestions?

If you fancy the coast and not too far away I can recommend these two sites on Morecambe Bay as good for kids / family friendly.

Little far south that one.
Pretty easy going kids, water, grass. Maybe some other kids to play with...

depending on ages and abilitys of the kids i would think twice about morecombe bay for wild swimming.
I,ve heard good things about this place -
https://nantcolwaterfalls.co.uk/index.php its certainly a stunning area but have only driven past en-route elsewhere.

Was at Gibraltar farm in Easter break and paid £14 a night for me and the two kids for non hook up which I didn' t think was too bad. Definitely no good for wild swimming though.

i was using the wild swimming as a guide to find good fresh water spots. I wouldn't make the kids swim, are they not strong swimmers.
They like a good paddle and splash around.

Fforest Fields is lovely, a lake for swimming/canoes, great walks and campfires allowed
