let me at it

Post by andyb36 » Fri Jul 03, 2015 9:44 am

well cupboards and air bags arrived

just arranged for a ramp to be spare at my garage ( bro in laws )

things to do

fit air lift bags :P

fit 2 mini top cupboards :P

re gas air con :P

may even treat her to some bosch wiper blades

and the usual top up fluids for my cornwall trip

we have a caravan booked at hendra park - bloody expensive one 1200 quid

but there will be 6 of us - 7 if you include my little granddaughter

we are taking 2 cars down - but bongo will ferry all of us around once there

hence air bags for rear

hopefully they will see what we all see out the front window - hoping she sits straight when loaded lol

is it strange to be 48 and excited to pimp the bongo ?

yep - ace campers

air con done ---- amazingly cold

my guy was surprised my bongo had the standard connectors for being 19 years old - he thought he may have had to sort through them all to find a fitting - no leaks nice and green through the condenser bottle

window wipers - I had been hanging on for ever .... 7 years ..

ow my god.... its like my screen is having a fresh clean each time..... wow ... sounds daft... they are the first wipers I have ever had,, not just on the bongo - but ever - never changed my own

done wifes, 2 daughters cars... just never had to do my own, maybe too tight and just thought I had never needed, massive difference

air lift bags - definitely a must if your rear end is tired - you can see she now sits higher on the rear - starsky and hutch style lol

we put 40 psi in - and it has raised her about an inch - so mine was def tired

over a few speed humps and - no clanking etc just a little stiff wobble and no drama

brilliant

would recommend regardless

didn't want to take any more of my bro in laws time - so we finished there

minitop cupboards will have to wait - f1 is on this week end lol :)

yes - ace campers - I didn't know you could mention them
did one for each side for me
ordered Monday - delivered by Friday
look professional

if any one wants any info - just ask

wow - I just cant believe how rubbish my previous wipers were lol
