Crabbing competition at Looe

I'm going to organise a crabbing contest at Looe. It will be Saturday at 2.00pm
location boating pool near carpark.{ Not tide dependant}
Kit supplied {small charge applies}
Bring your own secret bait.
First to ten. Then most in 1/2 hour.
Could be a bit of fun.
Please sign up if interested to give idea of numbers.
Always be ready for a Top Up!

We in the East have the British Crabbing Championship in Walberswick each year. It gets very crowded but is a lot of fun 8) :lol: I like the high-tech tackle used, such as a piece of bacon tied to a length of string - it actually works :lol: :lol:

I used to spend all day crabbing at chapel point catching some big crabs, then carrying them back to the caravan in a bucket :shock: good old days =D>

Saturday,1 o'clock main car park at Looe, Contest will last 1 hour. On the boating pool dam.
First to Ten
Biggest crab
Most in an hour.

For welfare reasons no more then ten in your bucket at once.
Bring your own tackle if you want. but its cheap enough to get there.
No hooks.
Don' forget your secret bait.
Always be ready for a Top Up!
