Sherwood Forest 9 to 11 October

This club meet will take place over the weekend of 9th October. Bookings are by telephone only from 0930 on Thursday 13th August. This is a member's only event; please have your membership number available when phoning. Places are limited to 31 only.
A shuttle Bongo service will operate on Saturday linking Rufford Abbey & Country Park, bus connections for Nottingham, a nearby gastro-pub, and Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre.
On Saturday evening there will be an "end-of-term" social in The Cabin featuring complimentary drink on arrival, fish'n'chips supper, free raffle and prize quiz. Cost is £8.50 per person (£5 for kids).

Thats why i asked bob,wondered if it was a site with facilities (TOILET/SHOWERS),or literally in the forest and go behind a tree with bog in a bag or dig a hole

A reminder that we have 30 tickets for this event and they go on sale this morning. We've hired the on-site cabin for Saturday night for a social. Cost is £8.50 for adults, £5 for kids. Price includes free drink on arrival, fish'n'chips supper, free raffle and the Big Quiz (with prizes).
There is also a free shuttle bus service during the day on Saturday to link with the Nottingham bus, forest visitor centre, and local pub.

Is it OK to come as a day visitor? I'll have my new Bongo by then and it would be great to pop in, say hi and talk bongo

A very big thanks to Ian, Marianne and other helpers for their hard work to make this event a big success.
Great weekend and good to meet old friends and new bongonauts. Pity it's the last of the year. Already looking forward to next year's bashes.
