Pretty sure it is, and it must be suitable for EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) unless it is blanked off.

Thought it was 10W30 but can use 10W40 in the UK no problem.

I've asked questions before about oil, but another question just popped up;

http://wiki.seloc.org/a/Oil_Labelling_Explained

I have 2.5 TD, should I get B1 or B5, or will A1 or A5 be ok for Bongo.., what about C. so many questions.

I can find:
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-a ... &0&cc5_247
Petronas Syntium 5000 FR 5w30 4ltr
Specification
SAE 5W-30
API SL/CF
ACEA A5/B5
FORD WSS-M2C913-C
RENAULT RN0700

or
http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/p/car-a ... &0&cc5_247
Castrol Magnatec Fully Synthetic 5W30 A5 Engine Oil (4 Litre)
ACEA A1/B1, A5/B5
API SL
FORD WSS-M2C-913-A
FORD WSS-M2C-913-B
FORD WSS-M2C-913-C
ILSAC GF3

I seem to be getting a bit obsessed with oil!

this may help. use your reg to find your oil. it actually knows what a bongo is.   . look at the service interval. =D>

it gives the spec of the selected product listed.

this will help with the C question.

scroll down to find other compatible oils and antifreeze for your bongo too.

Castrol and Comma both recommended 5w-30 or 10w-40 for the WLT engine, Depending on the mileage/age and condition of your engine.Over 50000/60000 miles I would go for the latter.
