battery and sediment ligt

hi battery and sediment light come on this morning staying on . things to check please . thanks steve
The charging and sediment light on together indicate an alternator problem
on thier own
the sediment light comes on to indicate that the fuel filter sediment trap (water) has operated,
flashing
the hold light is for transmission faults.
the glow plug light is for engine faults (this can be as simple as fuse 1 blown, no supply to ecu)
