New Campervan - A Future Classic?

Hi,

Reminds me of a 1940 London cab complete with gasbag.

Not exactly aerodynamic either.
No solar panel
Back springs need stiffening

Apart from that it's just plain bl**dy ugly. Somebody has definitely been smoking something he shouldn't!

Hi
Oh, hell, I have to laugh at that...it's true, it looks like a wartime gas-bag conversion.....I REALLY can't stop laughing....I wish you could see me....It looks like something a Bulgarian peasant farmer designed!!!!!
Cheers
Helen

The Toyota Prius is by far the most popular hybrid on the market, but even though it has a stellar reputation for being fuel efficient,
It's that bit that has me laughing.

Everyone I know who has one moans that as soon as they go anywhere out of town and start using the engine to actually get somewhere the MPG plummets to usual petrol levels.

If when tested Priuses had to recharge the battery to the level before the test took place their real MPG would be half the "official" figure.

And they accuse VW of "fiddling" the figures...............

And then they go on to say:

Of course, the conversion will kill your gas mileage, since the top is not very aerodynamic, but just think of how different you’ll look pulling up to the camp grounds in this Prius Camper.
And to look even more different, maybe step out of it naked

The contraption looks like a Prius about to be swallowed by a large whale. Perhaps they should call it the Prius Jonah

Goodness, one weird motor.

And I rather agree with Mike's 'Whale' comment.
