Just in case anyone has failed to spot this conversion, I thought it might be a good idea to post a reference in this section as folk may want to add it to their conversion plans as it really does improve the Bongo interior layout. It is without a doubt the best modification I have made to the van!

I've been in contact with Dennis and hope to get a passenger seat done in the next few weeks! Work permitting!!!!??
Just renewed my insurance and declared that this conversion will be done.
Adrain flux took the information and offered insurance to reassure people. Including passenger accident cover as usual.

I had no problems when I explained about the conversion to the 2Gether broker. They checked with Highway (Liverpool Victoria) and all is well

Looks like the Holy Grail has been found.
Splendid job.

I've had a modicum of success with the budget holy grail.
Simply unbolt the seatbelt fixing and the four main bolts then lift the whole thing up, turn it around and plonk it back down reversed for the duration of the stay. Just down treat it as a rocking chair.

It's great to hear people are happy with the new dawn swivel seat... it's quite likely to make it onto my shopping list.
Do they drill into the seat / metal seat base to fit those rods or are they removable replacements for the existing mechanism?

If considering fitting one of these mods I would start off with the passenger swivel : the driver's version seems like more of a fiddle to me. I have no idea about how the mechanism was fitted to the seat base, so best just to contact New Dawn direct for more info. The owner seems like an affable bloke and would, I am sure ,explain if it can be transferred to another Bongo seat .
I live in the North and so sent my seat base off to New Dawn by the courier Hermes
https://www.myhermes.co.uk
This cost me about £7 which was a pleasant surprise.
It was returned ,modified, in a couple of days and was easily reassembled and bolted in place again after I removed some of the padding under the carpet as recommended.
We went for a hill walk yesterday and on our return to the van I was able to sit having a coffee in the passenger seat talking to my wife who sat opposite . The inside of the van seems much more spacious (if that can ever be said of a Bongo!)

Doesn't look like it can be simply bolted onto another seat base without leaving the original in a sorry state!

Dropped my van off for a swivel passenger seat today
Alan at new dawn conversions had it all done in less than 2 hours.
As the original poster said really adds to the layout.
Choose not to have drivers seat has have the full side conversation. (But would if I did my layout again choose a different layout to allow for both to swivel)
Dan sent a text later to check all was good and to check I was happy excellent customer service all day.
Even getting a email receipt so add to the records.
All insured through adrain flux
Very happy can now sit in comfort and space at the dinner table.

Wotcha.
I too now have a swiveling bottom
Luckily I only live five minutes away from
New Dawn Conversions.
I left my Bongo in Den's capable hands - he gave me a lift up to Darlaston town centre ( about ¾ mile ) and I sat having my dinner in the Asda cafe.
I'd just ordered my second cup of coffee when Den phoned me to say it's all done.
Excellent bit of kit, well designed and well made. . . . . I'm more than happy.
