Farewell to my beloved Bongo !

AFTER almost 11 years of very happy Bongownership, I have decided that its time to part company with my much-loved Bongo (shortly to be appearing on a For Sale page near you, but that's for another part of the website !).

I thought I would share a few statistics :

since June 2005 :
driven 59900 miles ;
consumed 8875 litres of Diesel (ouch) ;
average mpg 30,5 ;
14 trips to France and Spain ;
2 trips to Scotland ;
1 house move ;
umpteen trips to IKEA ;
ZERO callouts to the Breakdown people ;

If I could get my hands on a new one I'd buy it tomorrow, but for the time being its going to be a new Citroën C3 Picasso (easy to get sorted in France if it goes wrong).

Now I'll have to learn the Club rule which refers to ex-Bongo owners - Rule 1.1 (1) (f)

Indeed good stats, thanks. :D

Don't forget you're welcome here whatever you drive, and very best for your new motor. 8)

As bob says....you will always be welcome here.....many ex Bongo owners still visit and post.

Remember...once a bongonaut...always a bongonaut...you will miss your bongo though...... :lol:

best wishes with your french shed... :lol: :shock:

What a great innings =D>

I'm coming up to 10 years, but am thinking of putting money in to do a thorough overhaul and try and get some more years out of it. Whenever I look at alternatives, I seem to find there are none that come close to a Bongo :-(
