Found one a bit cheaper on Amazon - looks like the same sort of thing - works on bluetooth - the transmitter though is powered by its own battery not the VRLA - wonder if you can get another monitor for the monitor battery etc etc

So.....as I come within 6 metres of my Bongo I can now fumble for my smartphone, log in, go on the app, and find out I have a flat battery. Or, I can take six steps, get in the car, turn the ignition key and find out I have a flat battery. Either way, I'm stuffed, but it least with the latter I'm £35 quid better off.

Nope, I really don't get this device. What I MIGHT get is something that could transmit to my phone telling me a current is being drawn from my battery when there shouldn't be any being drawn. Now THAT I might be able to take useful action on

All well and good, but the device that tells you have a voltage drain is draining the battery itself to tell you about it:)
