Hi, Can anyone advise on the process of replacing an air filter in a New shape 2002 V6 2.5L Petrol Bongo - is it easy to do myself? I believe it is a flat oblong type filter rather than the round filters for this model - and is the filter found under the bonnet rather than under the seat? Any advice greatly received! Thanks!

It's under the drivers seat .. An easy DIY job .. the filter lid is held on by steel clips that flick over (sometime easier to flick over with a flat blade screw driver) .. also it is easier to remove if the rear 'air' pipe is removed ..

Sorry that was when I first bought it and before did the first service .. I actually took the complete air filter box and 'air' pipe off and put them in the dishwasher before re fitting ..

Hi, thanks for your swift reply and very helpful (and tidy) photos re the air filter - I reckon I'll be able to tackle replacing it myself now once the new filter arrives - perfect! Many thanks!
